What It Means to Be Vivid
Founded by the dynamic duo of Andrea Sarata and Shelley Simmons, Vivid Aesthetics brings high-energy beauty treatments to the South Carolina Midlands. Andrea and Shelley started out as competitors, each owning their own aesthetics business. However, as the two came to know one another, they realized that they shared similar perspectives and together they could create something amazing.
At Vivid Aesthetics, we also offer the expertise of Dr. Jeff Sarata, who is on-site and performing services with us three days a week. His presence ensures that our clients receive top-tier medical-grade treatments in a fun, engaging atmosphere. Instead of simply offering beauty services, Andrea and Shelley wanted to create an atmosphere of fun—somewhere you want to come after a long day. Instead of dark and quiet, like many med spas, Vivid is bold, exciting, and fun. It is a place to laugh, talk, and enjoy yourself.
The name captures the essence: this is a place where you can be Vivid!

Dr. Jeffrey Sarata
D.O.
After graduating as valedictorian from high school, Dr. Jeff became a pilot at age 18. Not content to stop at that, he became a board-certified emergency medicine physician. After his residency, Dr. Jeff entered the Air Force as an Emergency Medicine attending physician and completed three deployments as a Critical Care Air Transport physician keeping our soldiers alive on overseas flights back to the United States.
Today, Dr. Jeff has over 15 years of medical experience and brings his expertise, excellent bedside manner, and an enthusiasm for health and wellness to Vivid Aesthetics.
Andrea Sarata
PA-C
Andrea brings a wealth of medical experience to Vivid Aesthetics and is a board-certified physician assistant with over 15 years of experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, burn treatment, wound care, and surgery.
Andrea is part of the dynamic duo which founded Vivid Aesthetics, and is deeply passionate about the world of beauty and wellness.
Shelley Simmons
FNP-C
Shelley is the other half of Vivid’s dynamic duo and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the spa. A certified family nurse practitioner with 8 years of experience working as an ICU nurse and 2 years of internal medicine practice, Shelley loves being able to help her clients look and feel their best!
Filled with boundless energy and contagious enthusiasm, it's easy to see why Shelley’s clients love coming back!
Jodi Munkascy
LE, CLT
With 12 years of experience in the industry, Jodi is not your typical skincare enthusiast. She infuses her passion and knowledge into everything she does - whether it's curating personalized treatment plans or designing step-by-step home care routines.
In order to provide you with the most up-to-date treatment methods, Jodi is constantly learning and holds advanced certifications from esteemed institutions such as the National Laser Institute and the Southeastern Esthetics Institute’s Advanced Esthetics Program with a specialty in Cosmetic and Medical Aesthetic Laser treatments.
Jen Johnson

Jen brings compassionate care and over 10 years of emergency medicine experience to your Vivid visit. She loves the intricacies of body contouring and helping people feel more confident in their own skin.
Rachel Lingerfelt
RN
Rachel is an aesthetics nurse. She's fantastic with IV drips, tox injections, and multiple device/laser treatments to
help you look and feel your best.
Danielle Vermilye

With over a decade of experience in the industry, our seasoned Laser Technician and Aesthetician, Daneille, combines technical expertise with client-focused care to deliver outstanding results. Her warm approach and dedication to client education allow her to create personalized plans that promote vibrant, healthy skin.
Brooke Windham - Front Desk
Hi my name is Brooke! I’m the receptionist here at Vivid and love being one of the first faces that welcomes our clients when they come in. I’m currently working toward earning my RN license at Midlands Technical College as I pursue a future career in healthcare and medical aesthetics. Before joining the spa, I spent three years in management at Chick-fil-A, where I developed strong skills in customer service, organization, and leadership. I’m passionate about helping create a relaxing and positive experience for every client and love being part of a team that helps people feel confident in their skin.

Do you offer appointments on weekends?
Please call us or send us a message to inquire about our weekend and after-hours availability.

How do new client consultations work?
We encourage new clients to schedule an initial consultation. During this visit, we will learn about you and your beauty goals, and help you determine which treatments are best suited for you.
While there is a fee for the consultation, the cost of the consultation will be taken off of any treatments that you schedule at the conclusion of your visit.
What is your cancellation/no show policy?
No Show, Late Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy
We love our customers! We miss you when you don’t show up for our appointments and we also often turn other clients away that want that same time. To help us accommodate all of our clients, please provide at least 24 hours advance notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
$50 will be charged for up to the first hour of your scheduled service if notice is not given.
After the first hour, $15 is added for each additional 15-minute segment of reserved time.
